Located at Porto's Art District, Fernando Santos Gallery was the first to open its doors in Rua Miguel Bombarda, focusing on contemporary art. For more than two decades, it has stood out for the selection and quality of the artists it promotes, mainly famous names, Portuguese and foreigners. However, the highlight of emerging artists is also one of their purposes. Strategically, it has sought to position itself in prestigious institutional spaces and large art fairs/exhibitions.
Through clear objectives, Galeria Fernando Santos develops its work taking into account four principles: (a) dissemination and support of projects by recent Portuguese artists; (b) exhibition of international art names; (c) establish close contact with collectors of references in the art market and (d) provide a line of exhibitions to support the production of some of the most significant Portuguese artists of the last decades.
Open Monday to Saturday from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Free entry.
