Located in Rua Miguel Bombarda, Galeria Presença is part of the art block in the area, being one of the firsts to be part of it and being part of the group of contemporary art galleries. Founded in 1995, it is one of the oldest galleries in the city, but not in spirit, bringing new artists to the fore. The Gallery has sought to create a circle of art and artworks by Portuguese and international artists, focusing on the different phases of their artistic careers, promoting their work in Portugal and abroad.
Among exhibitions, we can mention artists like Joana Vasconcelos, António Palolo, Zhang Huan, Miroslaw Balka and Jack Pierson. You will visit exhibitions with different artistic lines, such as drawing, painting, photography, and other more dynamic compositions, which usually are available to the public for 1 to 3 months.
Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
