To the 'taste' of the city
Located in the historical center of Porto, a World Heritage Site, the DOP restaurant is surrounded by the most beautiful monuments, authentic ex-libris of the city: Torre dos Clérigos, Palácio da Bolsa, Port Wine Institute, Ferreira Borges Market and the churches of S. Francisco and S. Nicolau.
The DOP is integrated in the Palace of Arts-Factory of Talents, it is also a historical building that has served as a porch to the former Convent of S. Domingos and headquarters to prestigious financial entities such as the Bank of Lisbon (now Bank of Portugal), or the Douro Insurance Company. Throughout the 14th century, the building maintained great activity as the stage of auctions and meetings of the city.
